Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Construction
Building structures in Ancestors serve a variety of purposes be it for resting, storing that unique rock that you found, or ensuring the survival of your clan.
The most important tip that I can give you is that the things you build will always face where you were facing when you were constructing it. This can result in some strange-looking barricades and as far as I know, there isn’t any option to deconstruction your structures.
With that out of the way, let’s talk about some of the structures you can construct in Ancestors. I should also mention here that this is an on-going guide. Who knows what we’ll discover through the ages.
1. Sleeping Spot
You need Sleeping Spots to get far better sleep as opposed to sleeping on the floor. This will fill up your Sleep Meter more than usual and your clan will be better rested for adventures. Moreover, you need to be sleeping in a bed to undergo evolution.
To construct a Sleeping Spot, you need 5x Natal Grass Cycads. Once you’ve them, pile them up together and follow the on-screen instructions to build it.
2. Branch Barricade
You need to build barricades around your settlement to keep the predators from barging in and running your chances at a successful evolution. Try to construct them at the earliest.
To start, you need to collect 4x Dead Branches and pile them up together following by following the on-screen instructions.
3. Storage Box
You can find a pile of rocks on the right side of the starting camp to use a storage container. In case you come across one, try to follow the sound cues.
